TFB is a mutual building and loan association. Originally chartered as Tecumseh
Building and Loan Association, its operations were started in 1904.
It has operated continuously in Johnson County, in southeastern Nebraska since
its inception.
The association is a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank System, and
its deposits are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
(FDIC).
Tecumseh Federal Bank is primarily engaged in the business of attracting
deposits from the general public and investing such funds in one-to-four
family mortgage loans and other investments.
Tecumseh Federal Bank has adopted the following Mission Statement:
- Cultivate a diversified membership of individuals, families, and
small and mid-sized businesses;
- Provide for its membership a diversified line of high quality
financial products and services;
- Create and Maintain a pleasant and positive environment for
customers, as well as employees;
